Salmon, potatoes and vegetables

Fresh healthy meals are sometimes hard to make without thinking its going to cost loads and involve everything organic. But fear not I don't necessary believe that... healthy options don't have to cost the earth.


Welcome to my healthy salmon, potatoes and vegetables recipe. This isn't necessary a recipe as it is so simple and very much pre made. But it is such a easy healthy meal. I hope you enjoy this and enjoy it as much as I do.

" A healthy outside starts from the inside"

If like me you try to eat healthy but find it to be a challenge sometimes as there are so many do's and donts. I wanted to find simple and easy recipes that were actually healthy and that taste great. I think that this one is perfect for all the family and will be a repeated favourite.


Ingredients:

  1. Handful of small potatoes

  2. one sweet potato

  3. bag or pack of green beans

  4. half a broccoli

  5. salom slice with sweet chilli sauce (can be bought ready made from your local supermarket)

Instructions:

  1. Place all the vegetables into a steamer and set to cook for 30 minutes or if you don't have a steamer boiling is fine but might take longer. (cooking time varies depending on personal preference on how you like your vegetables)

  2. Place the salmon onto foil and also cover loosely then cook for 10/15 minutes.

  3. When the vegetables are cooked to your liking take the sweet potatoes out and mash with butter to it makes a smooth consistency like mash potato.

  4. When the salmon is ready plate up and add all the lovely fresh vegetables and enjoy.

There you go... that is it as simple as 1,2,3,4!! Enjoy
